The purpose of this policy is to inform you about the functioning of these technologies, the reasons for their use, and your rights to control their use. In the context of this policy, any reference to our Site will include our website ‘beloy.com’ (and its subdomains) and our mobile application.‘Beloy’ refers to Beloy SAS, listed on the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 888 048 659 and with its head office located at 19 rue du Rocher, 75008 Paris - France.

What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file, often encrypted, stored in your browser or device and identified by a name. It is deposited when you consult a website or use an application. Each time you return to the specific website or application, the cookie is retrieved from your browser or device. Therefore, each time you consult the website or application, the browser is recognized.
Depositing these cookies may enable us to access your browsing data and your personal data.
What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies are not the only way to recognise or track visitors to the Site. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called ‘tracking pixels’ or ‘clear gifs’). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognise when someone has visited our Site or opened an email that we have sent them. This enables us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of Users from one page within our Site to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our Site from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve Site performance, and to measure the success of email marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly so we may not be able to provide certain functionalities where you have rejected the cookies on our Site, or have disabled cookies on your device.
Where we refer to ‘cookies’ in this Policy, we are also referring to similar technologies as described above. The Site does not recognize or respond to browser-based “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals or similar mechanisms.
Different types of cookies
Cookies set by the Site owner (in this case, Beloy) are called ‘first party cookies’. Cookies set by parties other than the Site owner are called ‘third party cookies’.
Third party cookies enable third party features or functionalities to be provided on or through the Site (e.g. like advertising, interactive content and analytics). The parties that set these third party cookies can recognise your computer or mobile device both when visiting the Site in question and also when visiting certain other websites. The owners of the third party cookies, and not Beloy, define the functionalities of the cookies and the information they collect under their sole responsibility.
Beloy makes use of different third party applications and services using cookies to analyse, enhance and personalize the experience of the Users. The list of third parties cookies used on the Site, and links to such third parties’ privacy policies which apply, are available in the summary table below (‘The cookies we use’).
How long do cookies last?
Cookies can remain on your computer or mobile device for different periods of time. Some cookies are ‘session cookies’, which means they only exist during your browsing session and are automatically deleted when you leave the Site. Other cookies are ‘persistent cookies’, meaning they survive after you have closed down or left the Site and can be used by websites or mobile applications to recognise your computer or mobile device when you reopen your browser or app later.
